Every season holds its own allure, making any time of the year a perfect opportunity to visit. During spring and summer, the bush thrives with lush greenery, creating a vibrant backdrop for observing adorable baby animals. Autumn and winter bring dry conditions, causing animals to flock around watering holes. Our lodge proudly overlooks one such watering hole, offering an ideal vantage point for remarkable sightings.
Embrace the essentials of comfort and versatility when packing for your safari adventure. Opt for neutral, breathable attire over bright colours and avoid white during guided bush walks. In summer, include a hat and layer up for cooler evening game drives. Winter calls for warm clothing like beanies and scarves for chilly early mornings and evenings. Regardless of the season, dressing in layers is key. Along with clothing, remember to bring sunscreen, a swimsuit, insect repellent, binoculars, and a camera.
